What documents do I need to rent a car?

You will need a valid driving licence, a passport or national ID card, and a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card for the security deposit.

Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard debit cards. A security deposit is required and held on the card at pickup. The amount depends on the insurance option you choose: €300 (CDW), €210 (ER), or €120 (ZE Full Coverage).

Do I need an International Driving Permit?

Yes, if your licence was issued outside the EU/EEA — non-EU drivers need an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national licence. EU and EEA licences are accepted as-is.

Yes. We deliver to hotels, apartments, and villas across West Crete on request, including the Kolymbari, Kamisiana, Rapaniana, Tavronitis, and Platanias areas. Contact us via WhatsApp to arrange delivery.

Where is your office?

Our office is located in Kolymvari, 730 06, Crete, Greece (GPS: 35.5426, 23.8148). We are open every day 09:00–14:00 and 17:00–20:00. After-hours pickups are available on request — WhatsApp us to arrange.

Can I pick up at Chania Airport (CHQ)?

Yes. We offer pickup and delivery at Chania Airport (CHQ). Our Kolymbari office is approximately 35 km / 35 minutes from Chania Airport via the E75 motorway. Contact us via WhatsApp to coordinate your exact arrival time.

Yes, on request. We serve Heraklion Airport (HER) for customers who want to pick up in Heraklion and drive west, or for one-way itineraries across the island. Contact us via WhatsApp to arrange.

Do you serve Chania and Heraklion ports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We serve both Chania Port (Souda) and Heraklion Port on request. If you are arriving by ferry, WhatsApp us your arrival time and we'll coordinate pickup.

Is airport pickup available after your office hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After-hours pickups are available on request for airport and port arrivals. Please contact us in advance via WhatsApp (+30 694 300 6062) so we can arrange everything before your arrival.

What insurance options do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer three options: CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) — included in all rentals, damage excess €400, security deposit €300. ER (Excess Reduction) — reduces the excess to €280 and deposit to €210. ZE (Full Coverage) — zero damage excess, security deposit €120. All rentals include third-party liability insurance up to €1,300,000.

What is the security deposit for?

Accepted Answer

The security deposit covers any damage, fuel shortfall, traffic fines, or tolls not covered by your chosen insurance. It is held on your card at pickup and refunded in full when the car is returned in the same condition with a full tank of fuel.

Do you have automatic cars?

Yes. Our automatic cars are: Peugeot 208 2024 Hybrid (our most popular), MG ZS 2025 SUV, Tesla Model 3 Long Range 2026, and Volkswagen Caravelle 2026. We recommend automatic cars for Crete's mountain roads and hairpin bends.

Do you have a Tesla?

Yes! We have 3 units of the Tesla Model 3 Long Range 2026 — one of the very few EV rental options available anywhere in Crete. It features autopilot, 500+ km range, and a premium interior. Book early as these are in high demand.

Do you have 7-seat cars?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Volkswagen Caddy 2025 seats 7 passengers with large luggage capacity. For larger groups, the Volkswagen Caravelle 2026 can carry up to 9 passengers with very large luggage capacity.

Are your cars new?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our main fleet is 2022–2026 model years. All vehicles are regularly serviced, cleaned, and inspected before every rental. The Tesla Model 3 and Volkswagen Caravelle are brand new 2026 models.

Can I drive off-road or to Balos Beach by car?

Accepted Answer

No. Off-road driving and access to restricted unpaved tracks — including the road to Balos Cape and Seitan Limania — voids your insurance and any damage will be charged in full. To reach Balos, park at the Gramvousa car park and either walk the 1.5 km paved path or take the boat.

Is mileage unlimited?

Yes. All standard rentals include unlimited kilometres. You can drive across the whole island without worrying about mileage.

What is your fuel policy?

Accepted Answer

Full-to-full. Your car is delivered with a full tank of fuel. Return it with a full tank. If the car is returned with less fuel, a refuelling charge will be deducted from your security deposit.

Do I need a car in Crete?

For Chania old town you can walk, but to reach Balos, Falassarna, Elafonissi, Samaria Gorge, and most beaches in West Crete, a car is essential. Public transport outside Chania city is very limited, especially to beaches and villages. Over 65% of visitors to West Crete rent a car.
